Dieudonne (Neetje) van der Veen is a financial and management business consultant and managing partner at Novis Initiis BV (Oversight Group) on Curacao. His work and experience is mainly financial management and structuring of businesses in distress and Governance on Planning & Control cycles.
As a business consultant, Mr. van der Veen also focusses a substantial part of his business effort on export of business consulting services to islands that were part of the former Netherlands Antilles, mainly Aruba and Bonaire.
Before Oversight Group, Mr. van der Veen held an executive financial function at Aqualectra, an Utility Company, and prior to that he was an auditor at KPMG Accountants and Stichting OverheidsAccountantsbureau.
Mr. van der Veen has a master’s degree in Business Economics (Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam), is a Registered Accountant (Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants), a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and a CICA (Certified Internal Control Auditor)
Most of the time it will be just trying to explain as plain as possible the economic theory. My intend is to make economic theory accessible to every body.
